Aluminium Association of India to hold National Seminar in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Aluminium Association of India (AAI) is organizing a national seminar on ‘Aluminium : The Strategic Metal’ in Bhubaneswar on 30th June 2016, at Mayfair Convention. The seminar is sponsored by aluminium majors Nalco, Vedanta and Hindalco.
On behalf of Nalco, Shri K.C. Samal, Director (Finance) received the award from Shri Prahlad Kakkar, the Legendary Ad Guru. Shri Kakar delivered a talk on ‘Making Odisha a Global Brand’ on the occasion. Among others, Shri Debi Prasad Mishra, Minister for Industries, School & Mass Education, Govt of Odisha and Shri Priyadarshi Mishra, MLA, Bhubaneswar (North) were also present.
Shri Balvinder Kumar, Secretary, Ministry of Mines, Govt of India shall grace the occasion as the chief guest and Shri R.K. Sharma, Principal Secretary to Govt of Odisha, Ministry of Steel & Mines shall be the guest of honour. Dr. Tapan Kumar Chand, Hony. President, AAI and CMD, Nalco and Prof. K.S.S. Murthy, Hony. General Secretary, AAI, shall also address the inaugural session.
The seminar shall witness participation of institutions and individuals from the aluminium sector across the country. In the technical session, papers on ‘Aluminium Outlook’, ‘Aluminium Park and Strategic Business Model for Future’, ‘Possibilities of Synergetic Development of Aluminium & its Products’, ‘Emerging Applications of Aluminium and its Alloys’, ‘Substitution Threat to Aluminium’ and ‘Angul Aluminium Park’ are scheduled to be presented by eminent speakers.
