Cement performance for October 2010
Production for UltraTech, the Aditya Birla Group company, for the period April-October 2010 has moved up by 5.98% at 220.97 lakh mt as against 208.50 lakh mt during April-October 2009. Dispatches rose by 6.51% at 220.29 lakh mt in April-October 2010 vis-a-vis 206.83 lakh mt in the corresponding period last year.
Cement production for the month of October 2010 is higher by 18.16% at 34.67 lakh mt, and dispatches, at 34.19 lakh mt, by 21.26% over October 2009.
