Cement performance for September 2010
Production for the Aditya Birla Group company –; UltraTech Cement, for the period April-September 2010, has moved up by 3.99% at 186.30 lakh mt as against 179.16 lakh mt during April-September 2009. Dispatches rose by 4.18% at 186.10 lakh mt in April-September 2010 vis-à-vis 178.64 lakh mt in the corresponding period last year.
Cement production for the month of September 2010 is higher by 2.91% at 28.19 lakh mt, and dispatches, at 28.47 lakh mt, by 2.71% over September 2009.
