Board of Directors today announced the amalgamation of OCL India Limited and Dalmia Cement East Limited ‘Bokaro’ with Odisha Cement Limited (shall be renamed as OCL India Limited), amalgamation of Adhunik Cement with Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited (DCBL) and transfer of power assets in Dalmia Cement Bharat Power Ventures Limited to DCBL.
The Company enhanced its commitment in adding value to its shareholders by consolidating East operations and further simplifying the corporate structure leading to significant unrealized benefits. Post consolidation, OCL would emerge as one of the largest Portland Slag Cement producer in India.
