Employees of Dalmia Cement North East team came together to extend a helping hand to the affected people of the recent attacks in Kokrajhar district, Assam. They voluntarily contributed an amount of ₹1, 60,100 from individual salaries, in addition to 2000 pieces of clothing for distribution among men, women and children of the affected area. The contribution was handed over today to the Assistant Deputy Commissioner, Kokrajhar and In-charge of the relief camp. “Our heart goes out to the people affected by the recent attacks and violence in Kokrajhar. Our employees in North East share a special bond with the people of the region and this gesture is an attempt to provide some comfort to the affected men, women and children,” said Mr. M C Kini, Chief Executive Officer – North East, Dalmia Cement Bharat Limited.
