Dalmia Bharat Cement Limited (DCBL) announced the ‘Padmashree Jugal Kishore Choudhury Forum of Excellence’ in collaboration with Jugal Kishore Chowdhury Charitable and Educational Trust and Association of Architects Assam (AAA). The Forum will promote best practices in architecture, ekistics, and planning. It will also recognize practicing and budding architects with the ‘JKC Award of Excellence’.
The Forum’s launch focused on habitat and the role of architecture. Featuring the JKC Lecture on ‘The World we live in’ delivered by the internationally acclaimed writer, Patrick French the event also featured an award ceremony felicitating the ‘Emerging Student Architect of the Year’, “This initiative reiterates our commitment to facilitating a healthy ecosystem that aims to benefit the architect community and students alike,” said Mr. B K Singh, Senior Executive Director, Marketing and Corporate Communications, Dalmia Bharat Group.
