Mines Secretary visits Nalco

Bhubaneswar, 13/05/2014: Dr. Anup K. Pujari, IAS, Secretary to Govt. of India, Ministry of Mines, visited Nalco Corporate Office yesterday. He was accompanied by Shri R. Sridharan, IAS, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Mines, Govt. of India.
During this visit, Dr. Pujari and Shri Sridharan had an interaction with the senior officials of Nalco. Shri Ansuman Das, CMD and other Directors of the company were also present. In his address, Dr. Pujari appreciated the role of Nalco in grooming professionals and its contribution towards spreading management excellence in the state. He also discussed different issues with the officials of the company.
Speaking on this occasion, Shri Sridharan cited Nalco as a public-oriented PSU and appreciated the company for sustaining an impressive growth trajectory. He advised the senior officials of the company to think seriously for the future and take necessary action in terms of technological upgradation to maintain the success track.
Prior to his visit to the Corporate Office, Dr. Pujari also visited the S&P Complex of Nalco at Angul.
