Nalco receives Emerging Global Brand Award

Bhubaneswar, 23/06/2016: “National Aluminium Company Limited (Nalco), the Navratna CPSE under Ministry of Mines, Govt of India, has bagged the ‘Emerging Global Brand Award’. The award was conferred on Nalco during the Brands of Odisha Awards ceremony, organized by a leading web channel network OdishaLive, here on Wednesday.
On behalf of Nalco, Shri K.C. Samal, Director (Finance) received the award from Shri Prahlad Kakkar, the Legendary Ad Guru. Shri Kakar delivered a talk on ‘Making Odisha a Global Brand’ on the occasion. Among others, Shri Debi Prasad Mishra, Minister for Industries, School & Mass Education, Govt of Odisha and Shri Priyadarshi Mishra, MLA, Bhubaneswar (North) were also present.
The aluminium major was selected for this award in recognition to its continuous efforts to redefine and reaffirm Brand Nalco, in the global market. Born and brought up in Odisha and with footprints across the globe, Nalco has not only brought laurels to the country but also considered as the Brand Ambassador of the State.
