UltraTechies pledge Rs.1,74,902 for children’s education
UltraTech celebrated the ‘Joy of Giving’ month this October in association with GiveIndia Foundation. The entire UltraTech team came out in support of education for underprivileged children and pledged Rs.1,74,902 as part of the initiative. The money was donated online and through ‘Wish Tree’ initiative.
This year, the Joy of Giving tree blossomed at Ahura Centre with pledges, promising better education for underprivileged children. With this we have taken another step in making India a better place for children.
GiveIndia Foundation aims to channelise resources to credible Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) across India. Aditya Birla Group has been actively engaged with GiveIndia Foundation since over four years.
At UltraTech, we started celebrating the ‘Joy of Giving Week’ last year. We collected around Rs.1,40,000 from Ahura Centre in October 2012 alone.
