UltraTech Cement Ltd. wins ‘Thought Leader Award’
UltraTech Building Solutions, a business division of UltraTech Cement Limited, was conferred the ‘Thought Leader Award’ in the category for cement, building material and construction at a glittering ceremony held at Taj Lands End in Mumbai on 29th June 2013.
The Thought Leaders Awards are international accolades conferred by the Stars of the Industry Group. The Awards program was created more than 40 years ago to recognize outstanding accomplishments under the banner of Golden Star Awards, National Awards in IT Excellence, Best in Manufacturing Awards, Women Super Achiever Awards, Indira Marketing Excellence Awards and INDY’S Awards. The Thought Leaders Award is in its second year under the banner of Stars of the Industry Group.
The aim of this award is to identify a futurist individual or an organisation that is recognised among its peers as a mentor for innovative ideas. The awardee must demonstrate high levels of confidence to promote or share its ideas into actionable and distilled delights.
This year the Awards were divided in 3 categories:
- Organisational Awards: 7 sub categories covering various facets of change management
- Sectoral Categories: A thought leader in each industry segment was recognised for innovation, change management and value creation for the stakeholders
- Individual Awards: 11 different sub-categories to identify and recognise the change agents at CXO and entrepreneur positions
UltraTech Building Solutions was bestowed the award for Thought Leadership in stakeholder value creation. It was recognised for establishing and scaling up UltraTech Building Solutions’ one-stop-shops across the country that cater to primary construction needs of its customers. This award is an endorsement of UltraTech Building Solutions’ initiative towards enhancement of channel loyalty, customer loyalty and partnership reach.
The other award recipients included Mahindra Group, ICICI Securities, Homeshop 18, TTK Prestige and Safexpress.
